If you had asked me in sixth grade what I expected to be doing for a living when I got to be an adult, I would definitely have said "drawing comics".
Then again, if you had also asked me whether I expected to keep my hair, I would have said "of course, why wouldn't I?"
Comics shown here were created for the music section of St. Louis's alt-newsweekly The Riverfront Times, Jerome Gaynor's zombie comics anthology "Bogus Dead," and the Union of Concerned Scientists' editorial cartoon calendar.
While working at Woot, I generated concepts and illustrated labels for over 20 limited edition wine offerings. A selection appears here. All employed Woot's trademark humor; none had the refined, formal look of traditional wine labels.
