| I was born in Saginaw, Michigan
in 1974, and grew up in Adrian, home of the Marching Maples. I
"studied" art in Illinois and France, then worked as a bike messenger
in
Saint Louis, and finally settled in New York City. I
now live in Brooklyn with my wife, Emily.
I have won many awards and honors, including
Garfield Elementary's Good Citizen Award (1983), the Presidential
Physical Fitness Award (1988) and Commerce Bank's "Teller of the Month"
distinction (1999, two months in a row). I enjoy playing Scrabble,
riding bikes, reading, and watching hockey. I used to live with the
smartest cat in the world. If I could have dinner with one person,
living or dead, I would pick living.
